Concierge – Mornington, VIC– Permanent Full Time

We currently have an opportunity to hire a Concierge at our Mount Martha, Mornington home on a full-time basis.

About the Role: 

As a Concierge, you will be responsible in supporting and facilitating our residents’ lifestyle choices. You will spend majority of your time interacting with the residents, getting to know them and assisting in their requirements. You will also work on delivering a positive admission experience with our new residents including interacting with the families of the residents. 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Actively engage with residents and families to facilitate activities such as social visits or appointments
• Deliver a seamless and positive admission experience to our new residents
• Supporting residents in planning daily and weekly schedules
• Engage with residents and families to ensure a high level of satisfaction in line with our values

Skills and Experience Required:

• Ability to operate as part of a multi-disciplinary team, promoting an engaging and inclusive Home environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
• Outstanding customer service focused and committed to achieving optimal outcomes for our residents, families and organization
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
• Is a team player and is also able to work autonomously
• Detailed working knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act and Quality of Care Principles
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Aged Care sector or Hospitality Industry
• Experience with individuals living with Dementia (Highly Desirable)
• Demonstrated experience with customer service
