About the role:

As a Kitchen Hand you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service and food safety. You will play an important role in committing to working safely within your team and promoting a positive outlook on the wellbeing of our residents.

Key responsibilities: 

• Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
• Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
• Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards
• Preparation and cleaning in accordance with defined cleaning standards
• Understanding residents special dietary requirements

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large Kitchen)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work as a team player
• Flexibility to work varied shifts 
• Previous experience in Hospitality ‘back of house’, Kitchen operations
• Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards
