We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join us on a permanent full-time basis at our Maylands Home.

About the role

As the Enrolled Nurse, you will work in a team environment, but also be able to operate alone and proactively. You will be on our frontline with our residents – which can be challenging, but is also rewarding when achieving positive outcomes for our residents. You will be responsible for our residents’ well-being and delivering care to the highest standard.

What You’ll Do

• Provide clinical care to residents, ensuring their health needs are met in accordance with their care plans
• Develop, implement and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by health care professionals
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with aged care standards and regulations
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
• Provide care for residents with Dementia and Palliative Care needs

What You’ll Bring

• Compassion and resident-centred approach to delivery of care
• Aged Care experience with a great understanding of the standards and regulations
• A genuine interest in elderly care and the desire to improve the lives of our residents
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with our residents
• Ability to use electronic medical records and technology in a clinical setting 
• Enrolled Nurse qualification with current AHPRA Registration
• Knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC 
• Provide NDIS clearance, Rights to Work and up to date COVID & Flu vaccinations
