About the role:

The role will deliver person-centred physiotherapy based on the individual needs of our residents to enhance their quality of life.

This will be achieved by using best practice methods and building positive relationships with our diverse cohort of residents.

 

We are seeking experienced Physiotherapists for our home in Ascot & Maylands. We have multiple roles available to work Permanent full time hours.

 

What will you do:

  • Plan, implement and evaluate the physio and mobility program according to residents' needs and preferences
  • Material, financial and human resource management within an established program budget
  • Professional care practice related to the physio program such as; assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Contribute to effective communication systems for residents/representatives
  • Plan, implement and evaluate individual resident assessments on admission and at regular intervals thereafter
  • Attends and contributes to clinical meetings.
  • Maintains a high level of awareness regarding the requirements of Aged Care Quality Standards and Aged Care Funding Instrument and contributes to associated reporting requirements.

 

 Essential Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist.
  • Right to Work in Australia 
  • NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain
