We are seeking a Recreation Coordinator for our Ascot Waters Home on a Permanent Full Time basis.  Pay rate on offer : $36 per hour

 

About the Role

Reporting to the Home Manager, enhancing the daily experience of our residents through planning, implementation and evaluation of a recreation program that enables resident choice and contributes to the resident’s quality and enjoyment of life and to ensure our person-centred approach to caring for our 164 residents is delivered.

What You Will Do

  • Proactively engage to generate new leads to increase occupancy in our homes
  • Deliver a seamless and positive admission experience to our new residents
  • Liaise with residents to ensure a high level of satisfaction in line with our values
  • Maintain feedback loops with residents and resident families to improve resident experience.
  • Develop and implement home specific action plans to meet occupancy targets
  • Contribute to and implementation of strategies to increase bed occupancy
  • Develop and maintain an accurate referral database
  • Maintain KPIs for RAD inflow and ACFI scores for new admissions.

What You Will Bring

  • Ability to operate as part of a multi-disciplinary team, promoting an engaging and inclusive Home environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and empathic communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
  • Customer service focused and committed to achieving optimal outcomes for our residents, families and organisation
  • Proven organisational and time management skills 
  • Ablility to work autonomously in a team
  • Detailed working knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act and Quality of Care Principles
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the aged care sector or relevant experience including senior administration.
  • Provide NDIS clearance 
  • Provide proof of full working rights in Australia
