Tasks & responsibilities :

• Ensure all cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards
• Preparation and cleaning in accordance with defined cleaning standards
• Flexibility to work across weekdays and holiday coverage
• Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
• Understand and execute infection control initiatives
• Cleaning and sorting of residents' clothing

About You :

• Organized, can-do attitude to what can be a physically demanding environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and autonomously
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Sound knowledge of Chemical Handling

• Current NDIS check clearance

About your role:

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work at the frontline assisting our residents with their daily needs and supporting positive outcomes.  Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring our residents well-being and delivery of care is to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate professional care practices according to individual care plans and documented policies and procedures
• Safe administration of medication
• Maintaining clinical documentation
• Adhere to national standards and legal requirements
• Engage with residents on a daily basis

About you:

• Experience and best practice from previous Nursing roles within Australia (Aged Care environment highly desired)
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and autonomously

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Ascot Waters Home to work Part time basis.

About your role

As a Registered Nurse, you will work in a team environment, but also be able to operate alone and proactively. You will be on our frontline with our residents – which can be challenging, but is also rewarding when achieving positive outcomes for our residents.

Your role will be responsible for our residents’ well-being and delivering care to the highest standard. We are committed to our residents and our staff, and encourage our staff to commit to working safely within their teams.

What You Will Do

• Provide clinical care to residents, ensuring their health needs are met in accordance with their care plans
• Develop, implement and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by health care professionals
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with aged care standards and regulations
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
• Provide care for residents with Dementia and Palliative Care needs

What You Will Bring

• Compassion and resident-centred approach to delivery of care
• Aged Care experience with a great understanding of the standards and regulations
• A genuine interest in elderly care and the desire to improve the lives of our residents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with our residents
• Ability to use electronic medical records and technology in a clinical setting 
• Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA Registration
• Demonstrated ability to lead, work as part of a team and autonomously
• Knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC 
• Provide NDIS clearance, proof of right to work

About the role:

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join us at our home at Ascot Waters. This position is part-time requiring night supervision, and will contribute and deliver to the leadership and management of clinical care and service delivery, to ensure desired care outcomes are achieved for our residents. This role will be instrumental in ensuring our residents are receiving best practice person centered care.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver and provide person-centered clinical care
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care standards, funding and policy
• Show leadership ability to be independent and support the leadership team
• Deliver on Clinical Governance reporting and requirements
• Improve and adhere to quality systems and processes
• Ensure the Home is compliant with all standards as mandated by ACSQC

What You Will Bring:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Clinical Management role in Aged Care
• Exceptional leadership ability to support the team
• Thorough understanding of aged care standards and accreditation requirements
• Working knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC
• Previous experience working in a memory support unit (desirable)
• Ability to drive quality and continuous improvement
• Energetic and enthusiastic approach to influence and lead by example
• Current AHPRA registration
• NDIS check and full working rights in Australia
